Eye contact, in particular, plays a crucial role in communication.
It can signal interest, establish connection, convey sincerity, and even express emotions without a single word being spoken. Maintaining eye contact can foster trust and understanding between individuals, making it an essential aspect of effective interpersonal interaction.
Our vision, as a non-verbal communicative tool
conveys much more than what we can express through words alone.
Emotion Optics unveils how various forms of visual interference can significantly alter the way we communicate. Experience firsthand the transformative power of distorted vision, offering a fresh perspective on the intricacies of human interaction. Emotion Optics invites you to explore a new dimension where perception meets expression, illuminating the subtle nuances that define our connections with one another.
Construction Process
The construction process involves the use of 3D-printed glass frames and laser-cut acrylic sheets that serve as the primary glass components. These acrylic sheets feature intricate cut-out patterns, offering diverse visual experiences for the users. This design allows users to easily insert and remove the sheets from the frame, enabling them to experiment with and experience various forms of distorted vision.
